Master Artist Elia Cortés and Manny Perez-Kenderish provided bomba dance training to Raíces
de Borinquen and the Washington DC area public.  Elia is director of Taller Tamboricua of
Santurce, Puerto Rico and a Resident Artist of the Puerto Rican Cultural Institute. This dance
workshop took place in November 5-6, 2005.
Raíces members pay close attention to Manny Perez-Kenderish as they learn the art of
percussion for bomba dance.
